Mission

Our mission - your ideal climate assured

If it is too warm or too cold, the office environment can become uncomfortable. If it is too humid or too dry a variety of minor, and sometimes not so minor, respiratory complaints can occur.

However it is not only people you have to worry about – electronic equipment is notoriously sensitive and can be seriously upset by ‘the wrong kind of air’.

Computer hardware, for example, consists of complex electronic components that generate considerable quantities of heat. This must be dissipated efficiently by circulating cool air around the equipment cabinets. However, the temperature of the cooled air cannot be too low because that can lead to condensation.

If the humidity is too high, it can lead to short circuits and potentially catastrophic hardware failure. It has even been known for high humidity to cause visible mould growth in extreme cases.

There is a large body of scientific research, endorsed by the World Health Organisation, which shows that machines and their human operators work best and most healthily when the temperature is close to 21 degrees centigrade and the relative humidity is 50 per cent – not too dry nor too moist.

All GEA Denco solutions are designed to achieve these ideal conditions. The result is that customers worldwide can benefit from air conditioned environments that enable people and technology to work together in harmony.

Creating ‘the right kind of air’ day after day is a challenging task – but at GEA Denco we have the experience, the expertise and the continuing enthusiasm to make it happen.
