Completion of GEA Denco Officecool project
The contracting arm of GEA Denco have recently completed a large open plan comfort air conditioning project utilising it's own comfort product range called "Officecool".
The project involved 14No. of the main "Zone units", rated at approx 20kW each, which supply the conditioned air into a raised modular floor. The raised modular floor is then used as a supply plenum to distribute the conditioned air.
To ensure the conditioned air supply in the correct locations 162No. Local Environment Control Units (LECU's) were employed.
These LECU's allow the conditioned air to be distributed into the area via its outlet grille and fan with the added benefit of individual temperature and fan speed control for the occupants.
The additional benefit for the system is that the LECU's replace a standard 600mm² floor tile meaning you are able to move the unit to an area where YOU require conditioned air. Ideal for office restructures / high churn areas which traditional ceiling mounted systems can not offer.
